About Jammin at Voodoo

Monthly Live Jam Session with some of Scotland's leading musicians playing lounge grooves from many genres. Catch Blues, Soul, Funk, Ska, Rock and Reggae, Jazz & Country. There's decent valve amps, a tight sound system & tech. Musicians play by invitation to set a good standard. Recent guests have included Elvis Presley’s legendary guitarist, James Burton, Jerry Donahue, Gregg Wright, Neville Marten, Jimmy Moon & The Moonshiners, John Bruce, Adam Clarkson of Zoot Money & many more. Usually a Wednesday, mid-month.

The sessions are arranged by Rod Kennard who plays bass with The River Devils & Blues in Trouble and Ash Gupta, Guitarist & leader of KoolVibration, Scotland's top Roots Reggae ensemble featuring Trav "Hedkandi" Panesar on sax. Entrance Free except for occasional special guest nights.

Free admission. Over 18 only.
