The Loony Dook (or the daft dip!) will continue its New Year’s Day tradition at South Queensferry. In the shadow of the Forth Rail Bridge, the dippers in fancy dress or the scantily clad will brave the chill to raise money for charities while shaking off their Hogmanay hangover.
£1 from every ticket bought is donated to the RNLI: The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Every day of every year, people of all backgrounds get into danger in the water. Your support means their crews can save lives quickly, safely and effectively.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Loony Dook are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
