Mary of Guise became the wife of James V in 1538. By the end of 1542 she was a widow determined to protect the throne for her daughter Mary, Queen of Scots.

It is now 1554 and she has just been crowned Queen Regent of Scotland.

Come along and hear her remarkable and often overlooked story.
