So often World War I is seen through the eyes of those who fought on the front. But what of the women who “fought” to save lives in the military and auxiliary hospitals around the country?

Come and meet Mrs Jane Clark, the commandant of a unit of VAD nurses and hear her story.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Unsung Heroines are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
