Introduction to Macramé
Learn the four basic knots of macramé in this introductory workshop with local artist Nichole Fernández at The Arienas Collective.
About Introduction to Macramé
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
On this introductory workshop with local artist Nichole Fernández, you will begin by learning the four basic knots of macramé.
Having mastered those, Nichole will take you through the steps necessary to create your own plant hanger including how to plan a pattern, measure the correct amount of rope, set up and finish off the project.
You will come away with enough knowledge to create your own macramé wallhangings or plant hangers at home, along with an understanding of the different ropes/cords used in macramé. And Nichole will teach you how to navigate the confusing technical world of rope so you can purchase your own.
All the equipment you will need is provided, and all materials and refreshments are included in the price.
Price: £40 per person including all materials, and refreshments. And of course you will take home the beautiful wall-hanging plant holder you have created!
Please note that The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor space and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Please inform us of any skin or food allergies when booking.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Introduction to Macramé are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
