About Magic School

Age 7 - 10 years

Imagine if your homework was making a pencil float, or making a ball disappear, or even reading your little sister’s mind?

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to properly perform magic and even create your own, then join us for a spell-binding 2.5-hour taster session or attend our four-day course for young magicians with a fun show for parents on the last day.

Learn the real secrets from a professional magician (Headmaster Gary James), make magic friends, and perform new magic tricks. Don’t let that Christmas magic set gather dust! Learn how to use it at the only hands on magic training school in Scotland and become a graduate of the most mysterious school in the world – Magic School.

About: Ten years ago, on a warm sunny, summer morning, inside an old church hidden away on the Grassmarket in Edinburgh, we founded ‘Magic School’. Since then thousands of kids from around the world have learned from Headmaster Gary James. This event sells fast and makes for a great Christmas present!
