Inside the tent there is a smaller tent, and inside the smaller tent there is a boy. He has travelled a long way, mostly on his own. He can show you the things he has brought with him, he can tell you the reasons for his journey, he can tell you about the route he has taken but he can’t tell you where the story ends…

Performed in a Mongolian yurt, the show follows the difficult and amazing journey of two boys who travel alone from Aleppo, Syria to Norway seeking refuge. The award-winning performance uses storytelling, shadow puppetry, comedy, clowning, live music to tell a big story in an intimate way.

We Come from Far, Far Away is a theatre production based on true stories shared by young refugees aged 13 - 18 yrs who have arrived alone to seek asylum. The participants’ stories are troublesome and unbelievable, but as with most young people, they are filled with energy, life and hope for the future.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for We come from far, far away are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
