Family Beltane

About Family Beltane

This delightful Beltane Fire Society tradition allows parents to share in the magic of the Beltane story with their little ones, in advance of the Fire Festival at Calton Hill on Tue 30 April.

Family Beltane marks summer’s return with a cosy day of stories, music, crafts, face painting, and drums. A host of otherworldly characters will lead the activities and embody the sunny spirit of Beltane.

A great day for nature-loving and creative families looking for a unique day out celebrating an alternative May Day.

Part of Tradfest 2019.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Family Beltane are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
