About Indian Classical and Bollywood Dance Classes: Summer Term

Ihayami School is run by Dance Ihayami, Scotland's Indian classical dance company. Our first week of summer term is 16th to 21st April. New students - come and try out any classes this week FREE OF CHARGE.

Classes are available for adults and children, and if you're not sure which class is for you, try them all, and then decide.

Ihayami means "I am here". And we are! So come and join our classes and be part of the Ihayami community.

6.30pm – 8.00pm: Bharatanatyam Improvers/Intermediate (Teens/Adults)

WEDNESDAYS (18th April to 4th July)
6.00pm - 7.00pm: Kathak Beginners (Adults)
7.00pm - 8.00pm: Bollywood – General Level (Adults)
8.00pm – 9.30pm: Kathak Improvers/Intermediate (Adults)

FRIDAYS (20th April to 6th July)
10.30am – 12.00pm: Indian dance (over 60s) – gentle exercise, dance & relaxation - FREE CLASS
5.00pm - 6.00pm: Bharatanatyam Beginners (5+)
5.00pm - 6.00pm: Bharatanatyam Improvers (6+)
6.00pm – 7.00pm: Sivananda Yoga (Teens/Adults)

SATURDAYS (21st April to 7th July)
Children:
10.30am – 11.30am: Bharatanatyam Beginners (Under 6 years)
11.30am – 12.30pm: Bharatanatyam Technique
12.30pm - 1.30pm: Bharatanatyam Beginners
12.30pm – 1.30pm: Bharatanatyam - Grade 2
1.30pm - 2.30pm: Bollywood Kids
2.30pm - 3.30pm: Carnatic Music

Adults/teens:
12.30pm - 1.30pm: Bharatanatyam Beginners
1.30pm - 2.30pm: Bharatanatyam Technique
