About Soundhouse: The Bevvy Sisters and The Soundhouse Choir

The Bevvy Sisters + The Soundhouse Choir
“The sound that erupts is quite captivating” – Broadway Baby

“Think The Andrews Sisters with switchblades” – FATEA

The Bevvy Sisters are Heather Macleod, Gina Rae and Louise Murphy, with David Donnelly. Simultaneously channeling the heritage of such classic sister-acts as the Pointers and the Boswells, they put original songs with an uncanny musical empathy and spirited attitude at the forefront of what they do.

Tenth birthday celebrations last year saw headline appearances at Edinburgh Blues & Jazz Festival, Glasgow Jazz festival and Celtic Connections, having won major acclaim across the acoustic and jazz worlds as one of Scotland’s most accomplished, inventive and versatile vocal acts.

Sharing the bill is our very own Soundhouse Choir led by Heather.

This is the celebratory close to an exciting year which has seen the open community choir perform in the Usher Hall and record with The Bevvy Sisters as special guests on their third album which they launch together and perform live, tonight.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Soundhouse: The Bevvy Sisters and The Soundhouse Choir are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
