Scottish Dancing in Princes Street Gardens

About Scottish Dancing in Princes Street Gardens

Scottish country dancers take to the floor at the Ross Bandstand.

Scottish country dancing at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens is a magnificent experience, and Edinburgh Castle creates an atmospheric backdrop for an evening of fun.

Local dancers have been organising summer dancing in Edinburgh for decades and the 2018 season kicks off on Monday 28th May.

Every Monday evening local groups lead the dancing, all set to music from fantastic Scottish dance bands. A team of dancers is on hand to demonstrate the dances and there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand.

If dancing outdoors isn’t for you then there is indoor dancing on Tuesday evenings where all the dances are recapped.

More information, all the dance programmes and how to check the dancing weather forecast is available on our website above.

Venue: Ross Bandstand, Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, EH2 2HG
