About A Fairer Scotland with a Basic Income with Annie Miller

On Thursday 14 June at 12.30pm, Scotland’s leading authority on basic income explains the ‘what and why ‘ and shares her views on this very topical issue, now the subject of a Basic Income Pilot Project to be hosted by four Scottish Councils. The Scottish Government has set aside £250,000 as seed-corn finance for the planning stage.

Annie’s talk will draw on research from her book, A Basic Income Handbook, together with her knowledge drawn from her longstanding involvement with the Basic Income debate, particularly through the Citizen’s Basic Income Trust, and informed by her long career as an Economics Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Herriot Watt University.
