About Coburg House Summer Open Studios Event

Coburg House is home to Edinburgh’s most vibrant creative community. Established for nearly 20 years, this former granary located on the scenic Water of Leith houses over 80 artists and makers working in a variety of disciplines including painting, printmaking, photography, illustration, design, glass, jewellery, ceramics, and textiles.

Our talented residents invite the public into their private art studios and workshops twice a year, and this summer, as part of the official Edinburgh Festival Fringe, our highly anticipated Summer Open Studios event is set to be bigger and better than ever.

The event will provide an exclusive opportunity to buy or commission directly from our award-winning artisans; the perfect way to shop for unique gifts and affordable art, as well as exploring the inner workings of esteemed local creatives, getting to know how they create their art.

Entry to the event is free, with live music entertainment by William Ancell on offer on the opening night. Throughout the weekend there will be an in-house pop up cafe by Domineco’s so you can take a break in between our 4 extensive floors of craft and design.

We are kindly sponsored this year by Bellfield Brewery.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Coburg House Summer Open Studios Event are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
