The next round of CONTACT will take place at Stills from Friday 14 September - Friday 9 November 2018 on Fridays, 2pm - 5pm.

Stills School is an alternative photography school for 16-25 year olds.

Stills School is free for young people aged 16 - 25 who face barriers to participating in the arts. To take part you must either be out of education and employment or face financial, social or health related barriers. Not sure what that means? Get in touch.

CONTACT is a 8-week course which will teach you basic photography skills as well as encourage you to develop your own projects. Whether you prefer darkrooms, digital or moving image we’ll make sure you feel confident using your new skills.

During Contact you will have the option to develop skills in the folowing areas:
- Camera handling skills (digital and analogue)
- Film-processing
- Darkroom printing
- Photoshop
- Negative scanning
- Digital printing

There are no costs involved. Equipment and material is provided as well as most travel costs.

The groups are kept small with a maximum of 9 people.
