About FILM: Nae Pasaran

Nae Pasaran! (2018) Dir: Felipe Bustos Sierra
12A, UK, Documentary, 96mins plus Q & A with filmmakers

A powerful documentary that looks at how unionised Scottish factory workers in the 1970s, refused to help their companies supply warplanes to the Chilean dictator General Pinochet. This was a show of solidarity with their fellow workers in Chile and one we could still learn lessons from today. Mixing archive footage, interviews and animation Bustos Sierra’s film is a window on to a politics that has disappeared from the contemporary British scene.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
