About Animal Handling with Cool Creatures

To celebrate our new exhibition A Design for Life this is your chance to meet some amazing animals up close and see for yourself the incredible variety found in the animal kingdom. What makes a mammal a mammal? Does a snake have a backbone? Do insects have skeletons? Come along and find out for yourself with close encounters of the furry and scaly kind, and others in between.

Strictly Age 7+

All aged under 16 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Tickets include Museum access from 10am-5pm on the day of your event.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Animal Handling with Cool Creatures are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
