Leith’s own Vision Mechanics, immersive impressive visual theatre makers, are holding their first summer festival this Midsummer weekend, Sunday 23rd June 2019 at Drummohr House, Nr Musselburgh, East Lothian EH21 8JL.
Vision Mechanics’ Midsummer Fest is a one dayer for all the family. Making full use of the grounds, forests and out buildings of Drummohr House, there will be circus, aerial, storytelling, puppetry, food and drink and live music all day.
Featuring circus from renowned aerial artist Sarah Bebe Holmes, an all day musical line-up from Vision Mechanics Great Junction Street neighbours Sketchy Beats with the best of Edinburgh alternative tunes, an aerial walk in the woods from Lucy Power, puppetry caravans and local food and drink, Vision Mechanics’ Midsummer Fest is all things Leith - in the woods!
East Lothian Enchantment at the Vision Mechanics- Big Shed workshop - a world full of giant blue marionettes and life size dragon sculptures featured in some of their iconic immersive shows Big Man Walking, Drift, Dragons of Drummohr and Quest for Oz.
In partnership with Lothian Buses, catch the 44 to Wallyford Park & Ride and then jump on the 70 seater shuttle bus to site.
