Join us at The Twilight Walk 2019 in Edinburgh.
As more members of our dedicated community come together each year, this inspiring event is getting bigger and better. So join us as, side by side and stride by stride, we take the steps needed towards a cure. All our walks are accessible and easy-going, making them suitable for the whole family.
Our 10km Edinburgh walk takes in views of the famous Edinburgh Castle and the beautiful Dean Village. There’ll be staff and volunteers on hand along the route to guide you during your walk, provide water, keep you motivated and cheer you on when you reach that finish line.
There’ll also be:
music
face painting and temporary tattoos
a chance to find out more about research
plenty of time to get to know other walkers
and a special warm-up routine to get you all raring to go.
We’re encouraging every walker to please raise £100, or as much as you can. £100 could pay for a test to help identify personalised treatments, which could more accurately target brain tumours and help improve quality of life for those diagnosed. So just imagine what a team of walkers could fund.
Registration: from 3pm
Warm up: 4pm
Walk starts: 4:30pm
Return to George Watson's College at the end of the walk to collect your medal and celebrate together.
Address: George Watson's College, 69 Colinton Road, Edinburgh, EH10 5EG
Whether you sign up with your friends and family, or choose to sign up as an individual, your footsteps will lead our search for a cure. Thank you.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
