29 OCT: Assynt
Up and Coming Artist of the Year 2018’, Scots Trad Music Awards, ‘Assynt’ draw upon influences from traditional Scottish fiddle and pipe music, in particular the Highland and Gaelic traditions. Described by Folk Radio as “refreshingly contemporary”, their debut album ‘Road to the North’ “marks them as one of our most impressive young bands.

26 NOV: Adam Holmes
Edinburgh-born singer/songwriter Adam Holmes is one of the brightest rising stars on the UK roots music scene, with influences from either side of the Atlantic mixing traditional and contemporary folk with his own brand of soul and Americana.
Twice nominated for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award, his three albums have been nominated for Scottish Album of the Year in 2014, 2017 and 2018.

17 DEC: Joy Dunlop
Multi-award winning Gaelic singer & TV presenter Joy Dunlop’s singing career has led her all over the world; from major Celtic festivals to touring the UK, Europe, Canada, Japan and New Zealand. Through her music, she showcases Gaelic music and song in a contemporary way that always remains true to its roots.
Nominated as Gaelic Singer of the Year 2016, 2011 & 2010, she has also won both the coveted Royal National Mòd Gold Medal and the Oban Times Gold Medal.
