An interactive workshop to deepen your coaching and facilitation practice.

A 2 day workshop covering basics to Clean Language and Metaphor, to enhance and improve your facilitation and coaching practice.

Facilitator
Tracy Archibald is an experienced coach, facilitator and trainer and one of a few Certified Clean Facilitators offering Clean Language training programmes in Scotland.

Who’s it aimed at?
Leaders, trainers, teachers, facilitators, coaches, health professionals and therapists. Anyone who acts as a change agent i.e. to facilitate change in others either on a 1:1 or group basis.

What’s in it for me?
You will learn more about the background, scope and wide applications of Clean Language and its approach and how this can deepen and enhance your area of change work.

You will develop an awareness of how much of your own ‘stuff’ is brought into your current practice, and how the Clean approach can be used to counter assumptions being made.

You will learn tools and techniques for training your attention, both to improve your listening skills and to develop your levels of curiosity around anything ‘vague’ that could be misinterpreted and potentially lead to misunderstanding or conflict.

You will practice using the basic Clean Language questions to improve your questioning skills and seek clarity and a shared understanding.

You will learn tools and techniques for: coaching others from problem thinking through to solution; removing barriers and taking action; to modelling resourceful structures and strategies.

You will further develop your repertoire of Clean Language questions to improve your communication and facilitation skills and seek a solution focus to conversations.

You will develop your own metaphor for Communicating @ Your Best to help embed your learning and practice moving forward.

What’s involved?
This 2 day workshop is an ideal opportunity to experience Clean Language first hand and understand its benefits to you and your area of work. The small group facilitates a safe space to listen, digest, discuss, practice and reflect on all aspects of the learning.

So, what is Clean Language?
Clean Language is a philosophy and technique applied to questioning that very quickly provides greater clarity and understanding. Conversations can be moved from problem state to solution state and through to action more easily with or without the use of metaphor.

Where is the training held?
The workshops are held at The Basement, 9a Torphichen Street, Edinburgh EH3 8HX. This is a central location in Edinburgh close to bus, tram and train stops. (Please note for access information that this is a basement property which is accessed via staircase only.)

What’s included in the price?
2 day attendance at workshop with light refreshments supplied £375.00 per participant.
Workbook including notes on course materials.
