Overview
Clean Facilitator Programme
Our aim is to build up and layer your learning and provide you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required at each stage to allow you to practice and grow in confidence and experience as a Clean Facilitator.

This gives you the opportunity to check you have a solid foundation so you can be confident in the structural integrity of your learning by the end of the Programme.

Module 1: Clean Language & Metaphor
In Module 1 you will gain an understanding of the background of Clean Language; it’s philosophy and approach; and the breadth and scope of its application. You will also learn the first layer of Clean Language questions and structures to enable you to facilitate your first sessions with a client around a resourceful state/goal. Taking this Clean approach requires you to work in a different way as a Facilitator. We will explore the key attributes and skills required for to facilitate Cleanly. We will explore working metaphorically and how this can benefit your client’s experience.

Module 2: Frameworks: Symbolic Modelling
In Module 2 we will continue to add more Clean questions and deepen your facilitator knowledge. We will review each stage of the Symbolic Modelling framework both to structure your facilitation sessions and to deepen your client’s understand of their own internal processes.

Module 3: Frameworks: Change Work
In Module 3 you will learn how to facilitate around problem states and take your client to solution thinking and through to action. You’ll learn more Clean questions and feedback models to facilitate both transactional and transformational change.

Module 4: Clean Space
In Module 4 we will explore working with Space – how this informs and adds to your existing practice and how you can facilitate “going live” with a client. You will also learn new Clean questions and structures to be able to facilitate a Clean Space session.

Consolidation Day:
We will provide a safe learning environment to learn and practice these new skills; consolidate your learning; and create your own developmental plan to continue on your learning journey.

Facilitator
Tracy Archibald is an experienced coach, facilitator and trainer and one of a few Certified Clean Facilitators offering Clean Language training programmes in Scotland.

Who’s it aimed at?
Leaders, trainers, teachers, facilitators, coaches, health professionals and therapists. Anyone who facilitates change or development in others.
What’s involved?

This 9 day programme over a 6 month period is an ideal opportunity to experience Clean Language first hand and understand its benefits to you and your area of work. The small group facilitates a safe space to listen, digest, discuss, practice and reflect on all aspects of the learning.

FAQs

So, what is Clean Language?
Clean Language is a philosophy and technique applied to questioning that very quickly provides greater clarity and understanding. Conversations can be moved from problem state to solution state and through to action more easily with or without the use of metaphor.

Where is the training held?
The workshops are held at The Basement, 9a Torphichen Street, Edinburgh EH3 8HX.
This is a central location in Edinburgh close to bus, tram and train stops. (Please note for access information that this is a basement property which is accessed via staircase only.)

What’s included in the price?
Attendance at 9 full day workshops
2 x 1:1 1hr Online Mentoring and Supervision session per participant, as well as:
• Online participation in Community Discussion Group throughout programme
• Online Group Practice sessions (to be agreed by participants)
• Completion of a Reflection log after learning and application of skills.

The investment is £1500 per participant. Booking is secured by a non-refundable deposit of £100 and the balance is payable by invoice prior to the programme commencing. (Contact us if you would like to arrange payment by instalments).

Workbook including notes on course materials.

Light refreshments are included throughout the day (although lunch is not provided).
