The regular practice of tai chi improves health and promotes relaxation encouraging a sense of well-being. As both a meditation and physical exercise, tai chi is an effective antidote to the stresses of modern life. At a deeper level tai chi is also a martial art and a philosophy of life.
Classes focus on the complete Cheng Man-Cheng tai chi syllabus; 37-step form, push-hands, sword form, and tai chi fencing.
Autumn River Tai Chi runs regular classes Monday to Thursday in three West End locations close good public transport links. Regular push-hands and fencing workshops take place on weekends.
First class is free.
