Congratulations on the Birth Of Your Little One!

From me to you I hope you are loving every second of their arrival - even in the middle of the night when you are tired and the morning seems like a long way off please cherish every precious second!

As you know I'm all about community and as a thank you for being an important part of our prenatal community and to welcome your beautiful new addition into the world I'd love to offer you a little gift of a free class. Its not much but I hope you come along.

The details below are the classes I have within Edinburgh & Glasgow and this email gives you an attendance pass to 1 Free class of choice.
(Baby Massage is from Birth - Post natal 6/10 weeks Post Delivery)

You are more than welcome to join us in our postnatal classes which now have a New easy pass system to make the most of the classes I have and the time you find :) From 1st April You can Buy a Baby Class Pass which gives you 6 classes of your choice over an 8 week period. This is to give mums the most flexibility for their time. Classes are ongoing weekly and Baby Massage is suitable from Birth! In Edinburgh I am launching Attachment Yoga - a class for mums who carry their babies. Hopefully I will find a slot in Glasgow for the mums here too. More info below!

CLASS DETAILS
BABY MASSAGE involves learning tactile massage techniques and strokes to aid growth, soothing and bonding for you and baby. We go over a range of baby massage moves each week focusing one body area at a time so that your baby gets used to touch, starting with the least sensitive parts first (legs) and working up to the head and face massage. Baby Massage classes last around 45mins.

POSTNATAL YOGA Postnatal yoga focuses on bringing structural integrity back to your body, helping to realign the spine and pelvis. Common problems such as back pain are relieved, and you will also learn breath awareness and relaxation techniques, which help to increase energy. We focus on the abdominals and core gently persuading the body in its recovery. We get to know our babies and build confidence and through gentle baby yoga moves we help create a nurturing and fun environment for them to thrive.Babies benefit from gentle yoga postures with songs and laughter, it's a fun class that is fully inclusive for both Mum and Baby. Class can be commenced from 6-10 weeks post delivery andyou can remain in class for as long as you wish :)
Postnatal yoga can help bring you back to your own practice, or if can be a great place to start. So never worry if you are completely new to yoga.

ATTACHMENT YOGA is a new class I've designed to help mums support their babies in slings and carriers for longer and with safety. Using Yoga postures and breathing techniques to bring structural alignment and postural awareness can bring strength and integrity to the postnatal body. Modern and traditional slings do a great job of distributing the weight of our little ones, however the structure of the postnatal body needs to be supported. This class will be suitable for all sling loving mums and will teach yoga techniques to strengthen the core from its energetic base - pelvic floor (mula bandha) as well as the spine to find length and space. We will also incorporate the shoulders neck and head as well and anything else that pops up in class... the class will be tailored to the mums who attend and it differs from baby yoga in that it will all be mum focussed and you can wear your little one for most of the class - class is 45 mins - 1hr.
