Returning for their fifth year, Edinburgh Comic Con will once more bring it’s own unique flavour of fandom to Scotland’s Capital.
It will feature many top named guests from the world of comic books and science fiction, with many of them appearing for the first time ever in the UK, including writers, artists and actors.
Among them are the co-creator of Marvel’s Deadpool and Stefan Kapicic who not only portrayed the character of Colossus in the hit movie, but is also reprises his role in the upcoming sequel.
Presently, the guest line up looks like:

In addition, there will be the familiar attractions such as prop displays, large vehicles, Lego exhibition, photo opportunities, photo booth, costuming groups, wrestling displays, gaming area, free to play arcade, nerf range, comic con cinema, panels and cosplay, to name but a few.
Taking photographs with our props, or interacting with our activities will all be free of charge, but attendees will be welcome to support our charitable endeavours through any kind donations to the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, who we will once more be raising funds for.
This year, the annual cosplay championships will once more have a grand prize of £500, with entrants travelling from all over the world to showcase their costumes, while being judged by our own home grown professional cosplayers from right here in Scotland.
New for 2018, will be our FREE workshops hosted by industry professionals and publishers on subject matters such as character design and publishing your own comic books.
