Welcome to the Edinburgh Sports Club. We are a thriving rackets club in the heart of Edinburgh's west end, just a brisk 5 minute walk from Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. We have 6 Squash courts, 3 floodlit Tennis courts, 2 brand new floodlit Padel courts a Hardball Doubles court, first class Table-Tennis facility, Snooker, a Gym, Bar, Restaurant and barbecue area. The club is hidden away on an island in the middle of the Water of Leith World Heritage site and has ample parking.
We are a family orientated members club that anyone can join. We recognise how important it is to be introduced to other members and playing partners so whatever your level and whatever your sport, we will make sure you meet the right people. There is an array of organised activities to help you get integrated into the club, mini-leagues, club nights, handicap tournaments, mini-team competitions, squash festivals, graded tournaments, teams, tours and international events. Coaching is also available for both adults and juniors of all levels.
Once you have played your match you can head up to the café bar and lounge where there is always something going on, Currie nights, Quiz nights, Bistro Nights, the Octoberfest of Squash, a Festival Fringe event, a champions league matches on the big screen, or a Six Nations Rugby fixture. You might even participate in the odd Karaoke Night! The restaurant offers excellent weekday lunches and you can hire the venue for parties and special occasions.
The Crags is not your typical sports centre. There’s no grumpy janitors, just people who care about changing lives through sport.
