Harvey Nichols Edinburgh is delighted to be launching acclaimed British designer Hannah Coffin’s luxury womenswear brand, Needle & Thread. The brand will be exclusive to Harvey Nichols Edinburgh. The Autumn Winter 2019 ‘Love Heart’ Collection is heavily influenced by Victoriana and is inspired by the delicate lace and floral fabrics of the 19th Century. The Edinburgh store will soon be the exclusive stockist of the brand in Scotland, when the label launches instore in May 2019.
The new collection showcases a scintillating colour palette of shimmering metallics, dusty greens and golden yellows, with iridescent sequins adding to the eye-catching pieces. Combining feminine designs with flattering silhouettes, fashionistas can expect statement looks for all summer occasions.
The hero dress of this season is the Scarlett Sequin Gown. Featuring all-over heart-shaped sequin appliques and soft ruffles, this striking piece is available in both champagne and silver colours and in three lengths; as a playful mini, a sophisticated midi or as a full-length evening gown.
The new silhouette from the brand this season has arrived in the form of the Aurora Gown. With long sheer sleeves and frill collar details, the sequin artwork is inspired by vintage fabrics. Available in both dusk blue and vintage blossom, this timeless piece is an essential addition to any contemporary wardrobe.
Reflecting the collection’s romantic feel, the garland floral print spans across various styles, from the Garland Petal Wrap Gown to the delicate ruffled cape. The vintage floral inspired print and endless tulle stays true to Needle & Thread’s signature aesthetic.
Contemporary capes as statement accessories return as part of the ready-to-wear collection, whilst those looking for something more casual can explore the range of jersey sweats and tees incorporating playful motifs and pretty embellishments.
Needle & Thread will be available to purchase instore from May 2019.
