The venue will offer an intimate setting with a unique ‘rough luxe’ décor and a promise to surprise and delight all that enter. Owned by Edinburgh’s Montpeliers Group, the team behind Montpeliers, Tigerlily, Rabble, Candy Bar, Indigo Yard and Eastside, Coco Boho will bring a whole new experience to Edinburgh’s late-night bar scene.
Expect disco drinks and sharers shaken, stirred and flared at Coco Boho from Drinks Consultant, Joey Medrington. The menu features a range of cocktails priced from £5 including frozen margaritas and signature serves like ‘Grey Goose No.5 Love Potion’ (Grey Goose La Poire, raspberry and rosé), ‘High Voltage’ (Jack Daniels Old No. 7, yuzu, mango, pressed lemon, egg white) and ‘Cosmic Colada’ (Bacardi Caribbean Spice, coconut, raspberry, pineapple and cream). There are also draught beers, wines, slushies and a beautiful gantry bursting with spirits.
The bar team have been working hard receiving training from the World Flair Association to learn new tricks, styles and skills to entertain alongside the array of acts that Coco Boho is preparing to host. Picture a carnival of musicians alongside bespoke energetic and interactive performances – each evening will be sure to have something for everyone.
Darren Downing, General manager, Coco Boho, said:
“We are thrilled to bring something new and exciting to Edinburgh. Our goal is to create a space where everyone can enjoy a casual drink with friends or a high-energy night out. We have put a lot of thought and effort into creating a properly fun experience for our guests. From the training provided to our staff, to the décor and the planned events, everything has been carefully curated to provide our guests with a truly unforgettable experience.”
The venue has been designed in conjunction with interior designer, Jim Hamilton. Jim has a strong background in hospitality and is the creative force behind all the Montpeliers venues. The basement bar has been transformed to make the most of the space; there will be an array of booths, intimate tables for two and high tables to suit everyone’s taste. Glasgow based artists, Art Pistol have been commissioned to create vibrant wall and ceiling murals to bring the space to life.
Weekly opening times are Wednesday to Saturday 8pm-3am and Tuesday and Sunday 10pm-3am.
