Edinburgh’s Conifox Adventure Park has announced that its spectacular Christmas Experience will once again welcome families for 2023’s festive season. And what’s more – it’s set to be better than ever.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in December, from Friday 1 – Sunday 24 December, families can spend precious time together as they venture through the 90-minute festive extravaganza.
It all begins at passport control, where visitors will walk through the enchanted wardrobe into the North Pole and journey through the magic forest where lots of fun and games await. From a cosy catch up in the kitchen where visitors can enjoy a story from Mrs Claus to The Reindeer Flying School and the North Pole Post Room - there’s lots of interaction for both the young and young at heart.
Visitors also need to keep an eye out for mischief makers Mr Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, and The Nutcracker as they promise snowball fights, tricks and plenty of fun and laughter along the way. This starring line up has been bolstered this year by Buddy the Elf from the North Pole who just loves Christmas more than anyone else.
And of course, no Christmas Experience at Conifox would be complete without a visit to meet Santa himself, where each little one will receive a Golden Christmas Coin which can be exchanged for a toy at the Toy Workshop. New for this year, the experience also includes a trip to the Make-a-Teddy Factory, where little ones can exchange their Christmas Coin for a bear of their own design.
Managing Director of Conifox, James Gammell, said of this year’s Christmas experience:
“Christmas is always a special time here at Conifox. We love nothing more than creating our unique fun filled family experience that’s going to give everyone memories that last a lifetime.
“Last year was spectacular, but this year’s going to be better than ever, with the return of some old favourites and the addition of some new and exciting festive treats including our Make-a-Teddy Factory and our Reindeer Flying School and North Pole Post Room.
“We are also delighted to extend the festive cheer to a few of our local charities including Edinburgh Childrens Hospital Charity (ECHC), LoveOliver and Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) and have donated over 250 event tickets to ensure as many people as possible experience what is set to be Scotland’s Best Christmas Experience.
“We can’t wait to welcome families from across Scotland and deliver a great big dose of Christmas spirit to all who visit.”
As part of the Christmas experience, Conifox Adventure Park will also welcome Taylor’s of Edinburgh Fun Fair and open the ever-popular, fully-licensed events bar which will serve a range of deliciously festive food and drink.
The event sells out each and every year, so book early to avoid disappointment. The Conifox Christmas Experience runs throughout December on the following dates: Friday 1 – Sunday 3 December, Friday 8 – Sunday 10 December, Friday 15 – Sunday 17 December, and Friday 22 – Sunday 24 December. You are advised to allow at least 90 minutes to enjoy the experience in full. Tickets are available at www.conifox.co.uk and start from £18 per adult, £27.50 per child (1 year +) and £5.00 per child (up to 1 year).
