The British sweet maker is celebrating the nationwide rollout of its Strawberry & Cream Squashies by touring the UK with its custom Squashies-inspired van and giving away sweet treats. Having been in Newquay last weekend, the van has journeyed across the UK to make an appearance in Scotland.
The sampling van will be situated on Victoria Street tomorrow (16th of August) and Blair Street on Saturday (17th August) from 9am – 7pm each day, or until the day’s stock has been handed out.
The launch of Strawberry & Cream Squashies coincides with research commissioned by Swizzels, revealing that nearly two-thirds (62%) of the nation say strawberries & cream is the flavour they most associate with a quintessential British summer.
Samples are expected to go quickly, so people are encouraged to head to the van and grab their free Squashies early to add a touch of sweetness to their Fringe experience.
