Around 6,000 visitors flocked to the SEC for the October show and organisers, QD Events are expecting the February show, on Saturday 22nd and SUnday 23rd, to be even bigger.
James Porter & Son will return as The Scottish Wedding Show’s headline sponsor, with other exhibitors booked up to return including Manorview Hotels, Drums n Roses, Folklore Bridal Boutique and Liggy’s Cakes.
From the latest bridal fashions, cars, and cakes, to venues, photographers and stationery companies, the event is packed with Scotland’s top wedding suppliers and has everything couples need to plan their special day. The show’s popular wedding runway will also be returning, showcasing the latest trends for the whole wedding party.
Speaking about the upcoming event, QD Events’ Portfolio Director, Nikki Miller said: “After a busy and successful October show, we’re excited to be putting tickets on sale for our February event to help a new host of brides, grooms and their families bring wedding visions to life. Whether you’re newly engaged and don’t know where to start, or you’re a 2025 bride or groom looking to put the finishing touches on your celebration, the event has something for everyone and is a brilliant day out.”
Simon Porter, Managing Director of James Porter & Son said: “Our first show as Headline Sponsor was a real joy and success for everyone at James Porter & Son. Being able to help dozens of couples on the journey to make their big day so special and memorable is what we live for. James Porter & Son will be back, bigger and better for the February show, to extend the family tradition to many more happy couples.”
To help couples with their planning, Let’s Talk Tying the Knot, will also be on site again. Created in association with wedding magazine Tie the Knot Scotland, this programme of talks and Q&As will allow visitors to ask industry experts questions about various aspects of their big day.
Couples or wedding parties who want to make the most of their visit to the Scottish Wedding Show can upgrade to VIP tickets and take advantage of the fast-track entry plus enjoy a glass of fizz in the luxury surroundings of the VIP lounge, preferred seating at the runway, and a goody bag.
Tickets are available to book online now from £17 for entry only and £30 for VIP tickets. Runway tickets are available for £4, visitors must also hold a valid entry ticket.
