This year’s scripts have been created by young people from secondary schools - Firrhill High School, Craigroyston High School, Tynecastle High School, Leith Academy - and Intercultural Youth Scotland.
Each script will be brought to life by a team of professional theatre-makers including directors, actors, filmmakers and musicians.
Placing professional playwrights into each school to transform students into writers and storytellers, Class Act provides creative support and a safe space for participants, encouraging them to express themselves freely and imagine without inhibition. The results address what they feel passionate about, and each script crackles with unparalleled energy.
Prepare yourself for a great night out at the theatre, witnessing dynamic storytelling from fresh young talent!
Class Act 2024 is part of the Traverse's £1 Ticket Project.
