About Screening: Catalan Short Films & Castellers Performance
The highly-anticipated Catalan Film Festival returns for its ninth edition coming to cinemas across Scotland from March 20th - April 14th 2024.
In Edinburgh you will have the chance to watch a magnificent selection of shorts made by talented filmmakers like Julieta Lasarte, Chirstian Ávila, Iván Morales, Juanjo Gimenez and Marc Martínez. The audience will be able to find a wide range of stories in different formats and genres that presents you a vibrant tapestry of Catalan filmmaking, all these preceded by a interactive celebration of traditional Castellers show (Human Towers) thanks to our friends at the Colla Castellera d’Edinburgh.
