We are beyond excited to bring our signature Charity Hangout event to Edinburgh with partners Moda and event sponsors Unity Insurance. Join us in 2024 for a community event that packs a giant impactful charitable punch.
Details:
Skill swapping, socialising, and stories of impact from The Social Society's community will be the focus of this evening with connection, and giving back at the centre.
Part one: Panel talk with three local charities (19:00 - 20:30)
Music in Hospitals and care - Music in Hospitals & Care is a charity that improves the health and well-being of children and adults through the healing power of live music. We will have Sue on the sofa speaking about the importance of their work.
The Edinburgh remakery - Waste less, live more. The Edinburgh Remakery are an environmental social enterprise with a vision to create a culture of sustainable, waste-free living, and protect our planet for future generations. Elaine will be joining us on the sofa to talk about all things sustainability.
Meadow Festival -Hear from the team at Meadow Festival about its unique and ever-evolving community festival that takes place every year on the 1st and 2nd of June.

I'm just here to connect, you will have the opportunity to ask for help, offer your skills, and connect with people in the room. There will be nibbles available to buy, and the bar will be open for drinks throughout the evening.
