Welcome to Team Thistle!

ABOUT US: Edinburgh Thistle is open to women and girls of all ages and abilities - at a typical training session we have everyone from complete beginners to national level players, and everything in between - so no matter what level you are, our experienced coaches will be on hand to help.

TRAINING: We train weekly on Wednesday evenings, 7.30-9pm on the astro at Mary Erskine Sports Centre, Edinburgh, EH4 3NT. Your first training session is completely free, so just pop along whenever suits you - new members are welcome at any point in the year. We offer training sessions for Little Laxers (ages approx 6 - 12), Juniors (ages approx 12-17) and Seniors (18+).

WHAT TO BRING: We can provide you with a lacrosse stick if you don’t have one. So all you need is yourself, a pair of trainers and sports clothes - we’d recommend bringing plenty of layers and a waterproof just in case. Bring a gum shield if you have one, but we can also provide these if not.

MATCHES: We play in the Lacrosse Scotland Women’s League, with games and tournaments throughout the year. We also have an active social calendar!
