With as many as a third of all proposals happening during December, hundreds of couples across the country will be entering the new year with nuptials to plan.
To help budding brides and grooms organise their perfect day, Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel, near Livingston, will be hosting a special festive Wedding Open Day on Sunday 12 January, showcasing its stunning wedding space, opulent suites and picturesque grounds.
As guests tour the facilities, they will be treated to a glass of Prosecco and will be able to sample a selection of canapes, along with having the chance to speak with local wedding suppliers.

For a truly unforgettable wedding, celebrate in the grand Houstoun Suite, a ballroom which can host up to 200 guests. Macdonald Houtoun House Hotel will also be hosting wedding fayre on the 16th of February, where couples can talk with all wedding suppliers who can assist with finalising the little extras for your special day.
