Join us in the sewing studio for a relaxing Sunday afternoon and learn about the beautiful, Japanese mending, Art - Sashiko. £55pp all materials included
At this relaxing embroidery class, your talented teacher will guide you as you explore together the traditions and symbolism within this ancient craft as well as learning sewing techniques to design your own pattern.
Let your creativity flow as you create something unique to you, using the sashiko techniques learned. Don't worry if you're new to embroidery, as your expert teacher will be there to guide you every step of the way.
As this is a social class, you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet and chat with other like-minded creative folks.
At the end of this wonderful embroidery class in Edinburgh, you'll not only have some newfound stitching skills and techniques to explore at home but you'll also be able to keep whatever you made in class!
