Attending a Digital Open Day, an Instrumentalist Taster Day or a Be a Chorister Afternoon is an ideal way to find out more about becoming a pupil at St Mary's Music School and allows you to see and hear, first hand, the opportunities available to young people who have an outstanding musical talent.
Dates are:
January 19th evening 7pm - 8:15pm
March 6th Morning 9:30am - 10:45am
April 20th 7pm - 8:15pm
Open Days give you the chance to see St Mary's Music School in action and to meet current pupils and staff. You will hear from the Director of Music, our Headteacher and our current pupils about life as a specialist musician at St Mary’s Music School. You will learn about the academic curriculum and our outstanding results, the opportunities in chamber music and a variety of ensembles and you will discover how music is completely interwoven into everyday life. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions that you might have.
Virtual events last for around an hour and are a mixture of live presentation and discussion and pre-recorded video.
Whether you compose, sing or play any instrument, join us to discover the benefits of being surrounded by other young musicians who love music as much as you do.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
