Beginners Rink Roller Skating
Learn how to roller skate in a supportive environment! This session will teach you how to use safety equipment, how to check your skates, how to stand on skate, move off, stop, fall and be safe.
About Beginners Rink Roller Skating
This is an opportunity to learn how to roller skate in a supportive environment.
Throughout lock down roller skating became popular because it is a fun way to exercise and you are able to do it on your street. Sadly a lot of people injured themselves or did not have the confidence to to keep skating.
This session will teach you how to use safety equipment, how to check your skates, how to stand on skate, move off, stop, fall and be safe on roller skates.
At the end of the session we will stretch and talk about body image and how it has impacted women to take part in sports.
Wear comfortable clothing to exercise and stretch in. Skates and helmets will be provided.

Boardwalk Roller Rink, Ocean Terminal, EH6 6JJ
