In August 1822, George IV journeyed to Scotland- the first visit of a reigning monarch in nearly two centuries. Two hundred years later, join us for a short talk exploring George IV’s visit to the city of Edinburgh and discover the role the Palace of Holyroodhouse played in this historic visit.
This event takes place daily from Monday 15 to Friday 19 August. Please note that there will be no 2pm short talk on Thursday 18 August.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
