This time HelloArt collaborates with needle felting brand PawBaba and run this workshop together!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞: In this workshop, the teacher will introduce you how to use felting tools, the type of different wool, felting techniques and demonstrate step by step and teach you how to create a portrait for your beloved dog from scratch. ALL TOOLS ARE PREPARED!

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫:
Anyone looking to create a felting dog portrait. It’s also a perfect gift experience as you are sure to create amazing memories with friends and family.

𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: Suitable for beginners and experienced people.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞:
10min - Workshop outline & material/tool intro.
45min - Create the base for a dog head and add eyes and nose.
15min - Create ears.
70min - plant hairs.
25min - Trim the hair, attach it to the felting cloth and frame it.
15min - wrap up and final tune.

𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨: Anita Gao, founder of PawBaba, an alumna of University of Edinburgh. PawBaba is a brand that focuses on creating felted animals for all animal lovers. Her custom felted works have been sold to all over the world.

Needle felting is a craft that involves repeatedly putting a barbed needle into a piece of wool in order to stiffen and shape it into the desired form. Get yourself wrapped up in the world of felt by discovering how to sculpt in a simple way.
