Announcing… the first ever Flexible Working Scotland in-person event!
Come along to Festival City Market @ Waverley Market to hear from four panellists how they flex work to fit life.
We all lead busy lives and as our lives change, work needs to adapt to fit. But sometimes it seems like finding work that fits around all the commitments and enjoyment of life is like looking for a unicorn.
Our panellists have each curated a (work) life blend that includes employment, self-employment, volunteering and entrepreneurship. They will share their stories - the ups and downs and tops and hacks of how they have designed (work)life blends that work. Because work and life aren't on two sides of a scale - work is part of life!
Arrive from 12:30 to get a cuppa from Seb's Urban Lounge (card payments only) and then settle in for our panel discussion, starting at 1pm. There will be time for questions, discussion and networking. The event will conclude at 2:30pm, but you are welcome to stay and chat, shop or grab something to eat or drink.
Panellists:
Host - Lynn Houmdi, Founder, Flexible Working Scotland
Carmen Chalmers, Support the Makers/ Festival City Market
Hattie Forster, Fiddy + Mabel
Anja Kirchhof, Making Work Work /The Challenges Group
Venue: Festival City Market @ Waverley Market, Edinburgh EH1 1BQ
