The Origins of Storytelling: Free Movement Workshop

About The Origins of Storytelling: Free Movement Workshop

This workshop will enable you to explore what stories have to tell us about our own journeys of self-exploration. Prepare to listen to stories, share ideas, and be asked to move to your heart's content. Bring your imagination, curiosity, and interest in movement to this workshop.

Free but book your space here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/pollyanna/742600

This is the first of two storytelling workshops run by Briana. Join us on 24 September for a creative writing workshop. https://buytickets.at/pollyanna/742917

Please come to the workshop with your favourite superhero, fairytale, hero, or character from literature. It can be a childhood favourite or a story from a modern film or a character you admire today. Think about what they wear, how they speak, and how they move to prepare for this workshop! Bring a story, notebook, and something to write with! No movement experience required. Dress comfortably.

Supported by Year of Stories 2022, City of Edinburgh Council and National Lottery Heritage Fund.
