We are pleased to be partnering up with Glasgow Short Film Festival and Scotland's Year of Stories to present this wonderful showcase of short films demonstrating the diversity, depth and talent of film stories from and about this country.
We will be screening Daniel Cook's intimate portrait of a remote Scottish hotel that is the unofficial residence of an array of international fishermen The Bayview (2021), Eilidh Nicoll's superb animated short film about the ageing process Silvering (2021), Leyla Coll-O'Reilly's tough and tender portrait of a beauty salon Groom (2021), Laura Wadha's deeply personal account of being a migrant far away from home Born in Damascus (2021) and Sean Lìonadh's powerful tale of a young man still coming to terms with his sexuality in Too Rough (2022).
Notes: (12A) features films dealing with themes of body image, sexuality, life in war zones and homophobia
