The Yeomen of the Guard
Military hero Colonel Fairfax is imprisoned in the Tower of London and sentenced to death for treason. Appalled by Fairfax’s fate, Sergeant Meryll is determined to free the man who rescued him in battle. Meryll and his accomplices concoct a chaotic and dangerous scheme to free Fairfax while daughter Phoebe yearns to marry the imprisoned solider. The plan is a stroke of genius, but only if it succeeds...
