Edinburgh's popular Playtime session pays tribute to the great songwriter Harold Arlen.

Composer of such evergreen classics as 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', 'Stormy Weather', 'Get Happy' and 'That Old Black Magic', Arlen left school in his teens to form a band and worked as a songwriter and arranger, contributing songs to shows in the legendary Cotton Club before turning his attention to Broadway musicals and films.

Special guest, trombonist Phil O'Malley joins Playtime regulars, saxophonist Martin Kershaw and guitarist Graeme Stephen in a session of timeless melodies played with passion and skill.
