Have a BEAR-rilliant breakfast with a pandas and pancakes tour! Start your day with a guided tour up to Yang Guang and Tian Tian’s home at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Edinburgh Zoo before we open to other visitors.
Learn all about this beloved species during a one-hour tour with our charity’s giant panda experts which will be followed by a delicious breakfast and panda-themed crafts. Children will also make their own panda cuddly toy before exploring the zoo for the rest of the day!
Please note: Pandas and Pancakes pre-opening tours begin at 9am when our tour guide will meet you at our members gate in the car park before walking up the hill to the giant panda enclosure. If you require the assistance of a mobility scooter, please contact us in advance of your booking so we can ensure arrangements are in place.
If you wish for any children under three to participate in the craft activity and make a toy, you can select the 'Under 3 – Activities and Pancakes' ticket option. Alternatively, if they do not wish to participate in the activities, please select our standard Under 3s ticket.
This experience is suitable for groups with children. If you’d like to enjoy breakfast with adults and teens, check out our Bamboo Brunch event.
A giant farewell
Our charity is giving Yang Guang and Tian Tian a giant farewell in 2023 as we work with colleagues at the China Wildlife Conservation Association to plan their return to China later in the year.
