YOTEL Edinburgh is hosting a series of Burns Night activities on 25th January to celebrate one of Scotland’s oldest and most-loved annual traditions. Taking place in Komyuniti, the hotel’s lively lounge and bar, guests and on-the-go locals can enjoy a traditional Burns Night supper, ‘Tour of Scotland’ whisky tasting experience, as well as a Scottish Pub Quiz. • 6.00pm - Tuck into a traditional Burns Supper with friends or family, including haggis balls in whisky sauce to start, followed by a main of Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and a sweat treat of sherry trifle or a rhubarb and ginger dessert. Vegetarian options are also available, including falafel, vegan cottage pie and a veggie haggis alternative. True to tradition, the Address to a Haggis poem is set to be recited and a bagpiper will provide entertainment throughout the evening. £22 per person.
• 7.45pm - Discover the taste of Scotland with a ‘Tour of Scotland’ Whisky tasting package, featuring serves from four of the nation’s famous whisky producing regions, Lowland (Glenkinchie 12YO), Highland (Glengoyne 10YO), Speyside (Balvenie DoubleWood) and Islay (Ardbeg 10YO). £24per person.
• 8.45pm - Test your knowledge with a Scottish Themed Pub Quiz. Free to join.
