It is a typical Saturday-morning 'Meet the Artist' talk at the gallery, where you will have an opportunity to learn more about the artist's inspiration, techniques and creative practice in a friendly and informal environment. The artist typically brings sketchbooks, and various materials (brushes, papers) that helps with 'show and tell' part of this interactive talk. A good portion of the time is sent answering questions.
The paintings by Louise Day can be viewed on the gallery web-site prior to the event: https://birchtreegallery.co.uk/artists/louise-day/
There is also a number of unframed original (smaller scale) works to see in the browser.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
