The Grand Tour - Harmonising the Past and the Present -
Laudonia, Scotland’s dynamic baroque ensemble and award-winning soprano Susan Hamilton celebrate the musical journey of Sir John Clerk of Penicuik. Clerk, a significant figure in Scottish history, made a Grand Tour through Europe in the 1690s, and this unique programme for soprano, trumpet, strings and bass continuo brings to life the music he may have heard on his travels. Susan is joined by the celebrate violinist and leader Bojan Cicic and and one of Scotland’s leading musical figures John Kitchen. This will be an exciting and evening - not to be missed.
