Every Saturday from May 6 to July 22, join Alexander Zhenovich for a 12-session class to take a journey through the history of art. Based on the study of works of great masters, participants will create their own unique works of art, and enter a dialogue with masters who lived many centuries ago.
This class is suitable for children who are fond of art.
In practice, you will study how artists of past eras interpreted the world around them. What role did the artwork play in people's lives in different historical periods?
The structure of each lesson will consist of a brief history of the topic and then the participants will create their own unique artworks.
Throughout the class, different materials, techniques and textures will be used for painting, collages, drawing with soft materials, and 3D cardboard compositions.
Each week, the class will focus on different themes including Ancient Egypt, the Renaissance, abstract art and sculpture.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
